"Let’s be clear. What’s been negotiated would – if passed into law – be the toughest and fairest set of reforms to secure the border we’ve ever had in our country."-- US President Joe Biden
The statement isdued by US President Joe Biden discusses the state of immigration in regard to the overwhelming influx of undocumented and illegal migration known to be among the most overwhelming situations involving national transmigration.
"If given the authority, I would use it the day I sign the bill into law." --US President Joe Biden
President Biden Ststes that , this moment is long past time to "fix the border..." crisis. According to Biden's comment, a team of Senators was edtanlished to work unceasingly on the matter of developing a resolution for responding to the border crisis.
Biden states, today, that the new plan will authorize the office ofthe President to "shut down the border when it becomes overwhelmed."
Biden looks to Congress to provide the funding requested by the White House in October-- that which would be necessary to secure the border.
Funding for securing the border, Biden states, includes the following:
1). an additional 1,300 border patrol agents,
2). 375 immigration judges,
3). 1,600 asylum officers, and
4). over 100 cutting-edge inspection machines to help detect and stop fentanyl at our southwest border.
The President commented in regard to everyone who is demanding tougher border control, Biden states, securing the border through these negotiations is a win for America.
