Vice President Harris Spoke Faith Leadership To S. Carolina Black Leaders

NATION: This week, US Vice President Ksmzla Harris met with South Carolina faith leaders. During her meeting with faith leaders in Orangeburg, S. Carolina , , Vice President Harris spoke with members of the faith community to ensure that black leaders would be included in efforts that ensure that the black community is provided the "...dignity, safety, and have access to opportunity."

On Friday, Vice President Harris visited with Soyth Carolina's faith leaders. During her visit, the Vice President encouraged black faith leaders to "...work to tackle student debt, make the criminal justice system more just, and reduce gun violence, including the President signing the Bipartisan Safter Communities Act—the first significant gun safety legislation in nearly 30 years


Vice President Harris , also , stated, ".. Additionally, they spoke about the importance of the Administration’s investments in Historically Black College and Universities (HBCUs), including those in South Carolina, and the Administration’s efforts to expand access to high-speed internet."


While emphasizing administrative efforts at investing in HBCUs in S Carolina, Vice President Harris stated the importance of living with dignity, safety and clear and certain ".access to opportunity."


Vice President Harris has played a role of superbuty; uplifting Americans snd some of America's most faithful , encouraging safety, dignity and opportunity being made available in day to day lives of S Carolina and that in a state that may suffer with widespread oppression by GOP persuaded policy makers.


Vice President Harris brings with her hope to the residents of S Carolina--a majority of the bring black- are among those who have faced off with racial discrimination snd cruelty based upon their race. Today, the US Vice President is msking s difference for tge prompt of South Carolina as she encourages them to take a stand and be noticed in this, the free , US society.


Harris stated a number of issues THST should be addressed in S Carililina including: the importance of tge "...Administration’s investments in Historically Black College and Universities (HBCUs), including those in South Carolina, and the Administration’s efforts to expand access to high-speed internet."


During her visit to Douth Carolina, Vice President Harris envmcoyraged voters to "...knock on doors, to make your voices heard."
