Today while the holidays are filled with the joy of Christmas cheer, there are often a few down notes tgst may seem to detract from the pursuit of all of joyous fun tgst csn be ours during this annual this annual festive occasion.



One of the down notes during the holidays is the stress that icvurs at times when most of us would rather simply enjoy the season. Today, the American Psychological Association offers a few simple tips on things that can can be fun to do to help relieve stress and ensure that the holidays are filled with heart warming cheer.


The next steps can help US choose to have stress free and Happy Holiday time:


• Couples, spend time together shopping, going out dancing, cooking ( baking) , going to the symphony; etc.


• Spend a bit of your free time sharing holiday cheer with others.


• Giving surprise gifts to those who aren't expecting them


• Mske a plan for the next holiday to share with friends & loved ones.


Share with others --perhaps someone who may be less fortunate & would appreciate a little love during their holidays


One Stress Therapist Sam Ellison III offers a few added tips to athletes and those who enjoy being a bit more physical. During the Holidays, MSW, Ellison says that a good stress relievrr is


1). Getting to the gym and exercising in the first portion ofthe day ❗️


2). At night as the holiday lights shine brightly, taking a walk or drive along the avenue --enjoying the bright lights is actually uplifting.❗️


Also, for retired folks, a great stress reliever , according to learned legal expert Wilhelm Ford, is getting in a bit of holiday season work-- which is also a good benefit for more holiday shopping❗️


As the holidays roll along, another one of the best thing about celebrating is being glad . Americans can enjoy the holiday season imich more when we choose to be glad❗️.
