Munich: Vice President Harris Met In Demonstration of Support To Ukraine & Zelensky As War Continues

NATION: In Munich, Germany, Vice President Kamala Harris met with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky during the Munich Security Council meeting Ms thst have proceeded over the last week. Vice President Harris spoke in reference to US commitment made to Zelensky in regard to their fight for dovereignty against Russia.

"We stand with Ukraine.  We have stood with Ukraine since day one.."----Vice President Kamala Harris.


Vice President Harriscreminded President Zelensky of their first meeting and the first commitment made by the White House to stand by in support of Ukraine.


"[O]ur support is unyielding and unending. The President and I have a firm and solid commitment to you and the Ukrainian people. "


In his reply to the US Vice President Zelensky stated that he, his team and tge prople of Ukrsine are grateful to the US for tge long standing support. Zelensky avoided extendive talks, immediately mentioning the urgent need Ukrainevfaces , at this time, for an increase in military aid.


"But we need now your unity during such a challenging period for us.  And, of course — of course, in the United States, challenging period.  We understand everything.."


Vice President Harris encouraged Ukraine's progress in the Euro-Atlantic integration and its continued efforts made to counter corruption. Harris commented in regard to Ukraine'scefforts at strengthening the country's democratic institutions stating that such support will establish the confidence necessary for Unrainevto attract investors , engage in rapid recovery and estanlishbrevonstruction at such time tgst Rusdia ceases right aim its unlawful aggression at Ukraine..


Harris stated her thanks to Ukraine President Zelensky and its people's willingness to fight for their nation , it has been only for their support in enduring with the US led 50-nation coalition which, as a result, has sustained Kyiv's stance in Ukraine.
