Biden Defies Medvedev Threats, Moving Closer To Aid Approval To Ukraine

POLITICS: This week, President Joe Biden speaks in regard to the Bipartisan National Security Bill and its approval that has been delayed by Congress. President Biden indicated that Congress has waited much longerbthsn necessary in approving the bill adding "...it's about time Congresdional Republicans step up on National Security..."

A news conference held this week by President Joe Biden offered some insight into the President's position on threats made by Russian leaders. Former Russian President Dimitri Medvedev made threats to the U.S. asserted his intent to launch attacks against the United States should Ukraine emerge as victors in the ongoing war with Rusdia.


Today, in the 2nd year of fighting, Ukraine President Zelensky states that Kyiv still stands as the Ukraine Capitol and, in a meeting with US Vice President Kamala Harris, presses the US and global partners for a greater level of unity.


Biden stated that it may not be possible to ensure that US munitions wound be received by Ukraine if Congress did not act.


While Congress held off making a decision in regard to the bilateral security funding, Biden stated that the postponement has raised questions about US credibility as an ally.


In the last moments of talks surrounding requests by Zelensky for military aid and as Avdiivka falls into the hands of Russia, Biden responds to salient threats made by Medvedev , the President stating, "We never bow down to anyone."
