US & GLOBAL: On Thursday, following his meeting with tge family of of Alexey Navalny, President Joe Biden issued a statement in regard to his plans for citing 500 targets in reaction to the death of Navalnaya who died in a Russian Polar Wolf prison facility. Today Biden announced that steps have been taken to follow through with the plan to impose sanctions on the Russian targets.

Today, President Joe Biden announced 50" new sanctions in response to Russian President Vladimir Putin's brutal war of conquest, in response to Alexey Navslny's death,
During a press conference held on Thursday, President Biden stated that the United States will ensure that Putin will pay for his aggression abroad and his represdion at home.
On Thursday, Biden officials commented in regard to the impact that the new sanction will have on Russia. While the Russian government works to use industries tgere to produce weapons of war, the Biden administration states that the plan for imposing 500 sanction is meant to limit the development and progress of Putin's industrial war society.
The second most significant effort being made given the imposition if sanctions is the impact that limitations on Putin's defense industry will have for impeding war against Ukraine.
Sanctions imposed on 500 targets Russia's MIR payment systems, financial institutions and military industrial bases. The 500 sanction will impose on Russian evasion and energy production.
