Biden Elated Over Odyssey Moon Landing After 50 Yrs

POLITICS: On Saturday, President Joe Biden speaks to the nation in reference to the landing ofthe Lunar. Craft , The Odyssey.

"On Thursday night, for the first time in over 50 years, an American spacecraft landed on the Moon – a thrilling step forward in a new era of space exploration."--US President, Joe Biden.


President Biden's report, the Lunar Craft, the Odyssey launched from the Kennedy a space Center on Florida's Merit Island on February 15 and landed on the moon on Thursday.


"What was true then is true now. America does hard things. We rise to the great scientific challenges of our time. And there’s nothing beyond our capacity when we work together


The Odyssey reportedly sent back photos of the moon having circled the berth of the planet before landing at the South Pole.


Odyssey is a public-private partnership between NASA and the Odyssey's owner, Initiative Machines. Odyssey is the north child of Smerican enhinuity and curiosity. Odyssey marks tge firtmdtbtime a public-private mission has been successful in transporting human life from earth to the moon.


Along with NASA's Artemis Program, the internationsl and commercial partnership that launched Odyssey, "...America is leading the world back to the Moon."


Decades ago, in 1962, US Predident John Kennedy spoke to students to discuss the significance of the US making the trek across the earth's atmosphere to arrive in the moon exosphere.


Biden stated, the US rises to the "...scientific challenges of our time and there's nothing beyond our capacity when we work together."
