British Ship Blasted On Red Sea Sinks w/22000 Metric Tons of Fertilizer


US & GLOBAL: On Saturday, the report of a British owned ship blasted last month by Houthi fighters , today , sank into the Red Sea. The Rubymar carried fertilizer and is , now, considered a danger to sea life and the lives of residents in the area.

Heading to Bulgaria after leaving Saudi Arabia, tge Rubymar was struck by Houthi fighters on February 18. The ship carried 22000 tons of fertilizer before sinking on Saturday.


In addition to the potentially noxious conditions that have been caused by the loss of fertilizer which was virtually dumped into the Red Sea. The shop lost multiple gallons of oil, causing a major oil slick.


Central Command received information from one of Houthi opponents in Yemen stating that the prospect for clearing the ship of its cargo was perceived as being impossible due to the location of the Rubymar which was apparently situated in a war zone.


Last month's blast brought upon the Rubymar created a masdive oil slick that extends to 18 miles on the Red Sea .
