STATE & NATIONAL: In much of the western region ofthe United States, a winter storm warning is continued for the state of Nevada as information is also, provided in regard to heavy snow fall in California.

Today, the National Weather Service reports the evidence of blizzard conditions and hurricane force winds reaching up to 100 mph.
At St Lawrence Island, snow fall is exiwctedvto reach 2 inches as winds continue, there, at 45 mph.
Conditions that will impede travel on the road include snow fall and heavy winds blowing snow over a time frame of 15-20 hours.
Blizzard warnings will remain in effect until 10 am in
Incline Village, Glenbrook, Markleeville, Truckee, Stateline, Tahoe City, and South Lake Tahoe.
In Mono County, confitions there will continue through 10 am Sunday. 4-8 inches of snow and high winds are expected in June snd Mammoth Lakes. Winds are expected to reach 115mph.
Similar condition s will line up in the areas of Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties, West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada, Northeast Foothills, Motherlode, and Western Plumas County/Lassen Park above 2000 feet. Including Interstate 80 and Sierra Nevada North. High winds and snow fall will continue through 4am and 10 am .
The weather service warns of extremely dangerous conditions with snow levels of 1500 to 2500 feet by Sunday. Travel warnings remain in effect over an 80 mile range from Nevada to parts of California.
