President Biden’s First Airdrop of Humanitarian Aid


POLITICS: On Saturday, at the behest of US President Joe Biden, the United States military airdropped 30,000 meals into the Gaza Strip. President Biden devised the plan in a move taken to overcome the problem with food and supply trucks being stalled by opposition forces.

This weekend, President Biden acted on the proof that 'an ounce of prevention is worth 38, 000 meals that fell, like manna from the heavens, into the hands of Gaza civilians. On this day, the hundreds upon hundreds of Gaza civilians would know what it means to have their prayers answered--someone up there was listening.


President Biden moved swiftly to take the action that would ensure that the people enduring the war violence that continues to pose a threat around their every day lives. Biden ordered the air drop after the events that led to the slaughter of 112 innocent Gaza civilians who scurried to supply trucks that were situated in an area that was an apparent dangerous militarized zone.


Upon orders issued by President Biden to employ the assistance of regional military efforts in a step taken to ensure a greater level of safety, the US military received the assistance ofthe Jordan Air Force .


Food substances were carefully packaged and parachuted into a safe area making the nearly 40,000 meals available to the people in the region..


As negotiations involving the plans for the release of hostages over a 6 week period of a ceasefire will continued on Sunday, talks are expected to convene between leaders representing Hamas and Israel . Sunday's meeting is set for being conducted in Cairo, Egypt.


Some in Gaza criticism airdropping as a method for ensuring humanitarian aid reaches thousands hungry residents. While trucks have remained stalled and situated in areas that pose a threat to recipients, there remains an issue surrounding the need for increased volumes of supplies necessary to reach hundreds of thousands.


Earlier in the week, Biden stated that his plan for ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza would included increasing the number of vehicles delivering goods-- 100 trucks are slated for being added.
