POLITICS: On Monday, Vice President Kamala Harris was joined by Israel officials in a meeting with Benny Gantz, a senior member of Israel's war cabinet. During their meeting, discussions were held in regard to the U.S. commitment to Israel as that nation endures the war against Hamas fighters.

Reiterating US opposition to the Hamas' violent attack on Israel launched on October 7, 2023, Vice President Harris spoke of the dismay that is felt in association with the risks placed upon the lives of te people of Gaza.
The U.S. and the world has watched as hundreds of thousands of civilian Gaza residents, including children, have suffered injury and death as a result of the ongoing war violence between Israel and Hamas.
During the memorial march on Selma , Ala., Vice President Harris stated the sentiments of the Biden administration commenting that a 6 week ceasefire is paramount to the preservation of innocent lives.
While discussions surrounded the pressing matters associated with the need to ensure the protection and safety of innocent Palestinians, both Harris and Ganz curcumferenced the urgency of securing the release of hostages.
Today, while in Washington, Ganz commented in regard to the threat against Israel that is imposed by the existence ofthe Hamas. The one time staunch support of Netanyahu's extreme right wing politics, indicated, today, that he remains open to tabling the pressing matters at issue in discussions with Palestinian leaders.
Ganz has also stated that there can be no end to the war violence until there comes and end to Hamas.
Israeli official Benny Ganz will, again, meet with Vice President Harris Harris and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during his US visit.
