NATION: On tge day after tge most excited day of tge pre-election hour, the results of the U.S. primary voting has provided one or two things. With 15 contiguous states holding both Democratic and Republican primaries, the results are quite revealing. As the count of votes were tallied, the events that transpired will only dictate who will , most likely, arrive at the height of their party's nomination. What is also , now, known is that candidate for President, Nikki Haley will not be her party's nominee--that is, possibly, unless Donald Trump is disqualified prior to the General Election.

Last night's tallies bring the facts right down front. The Texas primary elections have concluded, and here are some notable results: Mitch Little Leads in State House Race: Little, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s impeachment defense attorney, is leading incumbent state House Representative Kronda Thimesch in the race. This victory is significant as it’s part of Paxton’s revenge tour against Republican House incumbents who voted to impeach him over corruption and bribery charges. Ultimately, the Senate cleared Paxton of wrongdoing.

House Speaker Dade Phelan Faces Runoff: House Speaker Dade Phelan was unable to secure reelection in his Southeast Texas district. He will head into a runoff election against GOP primary challenger David Covey, who is backed by former President Donald Trump and Attorney General Ken Paxton. Covey emerged as the top candidate in the three-person race, with Phelan securing the second spot for the May 28 runoff.

Supreme Court Seat Race: Incumbent Texas Supreme Court Justice John Devine and his Republican challenger, Judge Brian Walker, are in a neck-and-neck battle. Walker’s lead has narrowed to just 0.6% with 65% of the total estimated vote counted.

These results indicate a dynamic political landscape, with implications for both state and national politics.

As Americans closely watch, the possibility of President Joe Biden’s return to the White House being challenged by former President Donald Trump remains a primary interest for most Republicans.
