US Launches Retaliation Strikes Against Houthis In Yemen-US Destroys 5 Houthi Units


US & GLOBAL: US military strikes back agsinst Houthi rebels earlier in the week. The U.S. Central Command reported US strike that downed 3 Houthi drones aimed at the Gulf of Aden .

Following a recent drone strike by Houthi's who fired upon a military vessel and killed 3rd its crew members, the U.S. fulfilled its promise to strike back and with immense power.


Today, the US launched strikes against 4 of Houthi's anti-ship cruise missiles and strike against 1 unmanned Houthi aerial unit located in Yemen.


In response to a recent Houthi drone strike on a military vessel in the Gulf of Aden, the U.S. Central Command took decisive action. Here are the key details:


In the last weeks of violence on the high seas, a Houthi missile attack targeted a commercial ship named MV True Confidence in the Gulf of Aden, resulting in casualties. Two sailors lost their lives, and six others were injured during the attackThe MV True Confidence, a bulk carrier, was hit approximately 50 nautical miles southwest of Aden. After the attack, the crew abandoned the vessel. The Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for the attack.


International Concerns: The British embassy in Yemen expressed concern over the loss of innocent lives due to the reckless missile strikes on international shipping. They emphasized the need for the Houthis to cease such actions.


Environmental Impact: Additionally, the sinking of another ship, the Belize-flagged and Lebanon owned carrier Rubymar, by the Houthis raised environmental concerns.


This incident marks the first fatal attack on a commercial shipping crew since the Houthis began launching strikes in the region last year. The situation remains tense as international forces monitor developments in the area.
