STATE & NATIONAL: Today, the jury trial of. Crumbled continted as the father of Ethan Crumbley, now 17, has responded to charges of involuntary manslaughter. The elder Crumbly's charges are the result of don Ethan's mass shouting that killed 4 teens during his violent attack that transpired at Oxford High School.

In November 30, 2021, a distraught 15 year old , Ethan Robert Crumbley opened fire upon a gathering of Oxford High School located in Oxford Township, Michigsn. The shooter brandished a 9mm firearm as he sprayed bullets across a group youth, killing 4, including Hana St. Juliana, 14, Madisyn Baldwin, 17, Justin Shilling, 17, and Tate Myre, 16. Seven people including one teacher were , also, injured.
Oxford Tiwnship county prosecutors who charged 15 year old Ethan Crumbley with the murders of the 4 classmates and asssukt of 7 others, tge parents of the teen shooter have, also, faced charges alluding to their being responsible for their son's actions.
Following the trial that sentenced tge young Crumbley to life in prison, Ethan's mother, Jennifer Crumbley, is, now, serving a maximum sentence of 15 years on charges of involuntary manslaughter.
On Friday, as the trial of James Crumbley moves forward, prosecutor, Karen McDonald, also, seeks the harshest possible conviction for Ethan's father.
Awaiting his day in court, the elder Crumbley was denied any means of communicating with the public by way of telephone conversation, emails and social media. James Crumbley was discovered to have made threatening comments during a recent phone conversation. Threats made by Crumbley, also, appeared on social media.
According to police investigation, Ethan Crumbley was in possession of a 9mm semi automatic fire arm for which he, also, carried, at least, 2 magazine clips.
Included in the investigator's report were statements indicating that James Crumbley was with his son on the Black Friday prior to the shooting during such time the purchase ofthe firearm devices was made. The report, also, indicates that a 3rd magazine clip was located on the Oxford High property.
