STATE & NATIONAL: President Joe Biden’s U.S. African Leaders' Summit, held in Washington, DC from December 13 to 15, 2022, emphasized the pivotal role that Africa plays in shaping the world’s future. Recognizing Africa as a key geopolitical player, the summit brought together leaders from across the African continent, including representatives from civil society, business, diaspora, women, and youth. President Biden’s vision is clear: “Africa’s success is the world’s success.”

Demographic Potential:
Approximately 60% of Africa’s population is under the age of 25, which translates to nearly 850 million young people on the continent.
By 2050, the current numbers of youth in Africa is existed to grow to 1.2nillion

The second day of the summit focused on increasing two-way trade and investment at the U.S.-Africa Business Forum.
During tge African Leaders Summit, more than 300 American and African vompsnies joined in discussion and disclosure . Discussions included talks in infrastructure, health, energy, digital and other budiness.
Agenda 2063:
President Biden emphasized partnering on the African Union’s strategic vision, known as Agenda 2063.
This vision outlines Africa’s aspirations for development, integration, and prosperity.
