Haitians Seek Refuge From Violent Crime Rings-Florida Prepares For Influx of Asylum Seekers

STATE & NATIONAL: Today, as the nation of Haiti becomes weighted down in violent conflict--its leader, Prime Minister, Ariel Henry resigning amid the continued eruption of violence launched by gangs, the nation remains a significant trade partner with the United States.

While Haiti remains a sovereign nation, the nation, also located in the Western Hemisphere , remains much like its neighbor the Dominican Republic, Although Haiti is not a province iftge U.S., nor France, its independence as a Democratic state remains a significant element , striking unity between the Haitian and US governments.


Violent Crime Rings Gun Down Haitians inthe Streets


As violence in Haiti rages on and residents there require a plan for seeking refuge and evacuation to a safe haven that will provide protection away from the apparent threat on innocent lives by formidable blood-letting gangs, the U.S. has taken precautions to secure the border ports that may be open to the undocumented entry by Haitian migrants.


In Florida , border agents in Miami receive instruction in regard to an overwhelming number of Haitian refugees is likely to arrive in tge Floria coastal city. The report adds that it is unlikely that Haitian refugees will be repatriated.


In 2022, the US repatriated scores of Haitians who were among 15 000 arriving nearest the United States at the Mexico - Texas border. While in 2022 border agents drove Hsitians back away from the border crossing the possibility of a repeat of any similar hostility toward Haitian refugees is also unlikely.


In Port Au Prince Prime Minister of Haiti, Henry , reports of violence that has erupted across the Island. In a recent trip made by Prime Minister, Henry, his return from Jentmya prompted a halt as his sircradmftbdought to land at an airport on the Island of Hispaniola; shared by Haitians.


Henry, it's said, traveled to Kenya, Africa to join in conference with leaders tgere to request military assistance in fighting an outbreak of gang launched by notorious gangsters.


Haiti has been forced to shut down airports, its economy affected by tge shutting of businesses , many of which were suffered under the blow of gang violence.


On Sunday, a state of emergency was declared by the Haitian government as gangs continue burning buildings, looting, attacking police stations and government infrastructure resulting in the closure of hospitals as disease and starvation overtakes some regions.
