US& GLOBAL: Today, Knesset leader's opposition party lead, Yair Lapid reacted to the statements made by US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Lapid responded to Schumer's comments diluting a speech delivered to oppoditionnosty supporters during such time he indicated an agreement with the New York Senstor stating that Netanyshu is losing Israel's "biggest support.." of US officials.

During his speech, Yair Lapid stated that Netanyahu is committing acts of opposition to the U.S. and the Palestine civilians '"...on purpose." Specifically Lapid indicated that efforts being made by Netanyahu are politically motivated and will, instead damage Israel.
In reaction to the war and Netanyahu's plans for launching attacks against innocent Palestine civilians in Gaza and Rafah, US President Biden has issued a warning to the Israel Prime Minister to take sufficient precautions to protect the innocent, Biden's warnings made to Netanyahu have followed several weeks of previous requests for Netanyahu to ensure the protection of civilians or lose military weapons and equipment provisions by the U.S.
In response to Biden's ultimatum, in a flurry of shelling last month, Netanyahu's IDF soldiers have launched attacks near the Rafah border while,also, firing upon civilians in Gaza who hoped to gain. access to much needed food and medical supplies. During the Israeli gun fire, some 120 Gaza residents were reported killed.
Prime Minister Netanyahu continues to resist the U.S. call for a two-state Gaza. Netanyahu states his cause indicating thst a two-state government in Gaza would only result in weakened security, failing an end to the years long conflict.
Differences in terms of agreement have failed to accomplish a ceasefire that would also , allow for the release of hundreds of thousands of hostages.
According to reports Netanyahu has refrained from any discussion or talks with US President Joe Biden since the ultimatum had been issued by the U.S. President. Biden has admonished the Israeli Prime Minister stating that he must see to the protection of Palestine civilians.
