US Congress Establishes Law Preventing President’s Abdication of NATO

US & GLOBAL: NATO is a collective security system: formulated by tge joining together iof independent member states, each of which agree to defend their partners against attacks by third parties. The definitive function of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, today, provides military intervention to 130 countries around the world. Following a plan to ensure the safety and security of partner countries, the U.S. Congress barred any efforts made by a U.S. President to abdicate its position with NATO.

After the careful perusal ofthe standards set forth in the NATO agreement, the recent decision by Congress has ensured that a U.S. President will be incapable of withdrawing from NATO short of a vote by the US Senate having a decision cartulied forth in Congress.

Following Thursday's approval ofthe National Defense Authorization, the measure expected to be signed last Friday by President Biden, the NATO pact will, also, be signed into law by the President.
