Thomas Lining Up For The Chopping Block? Perhaps - It Seems A Thing ofthe Extremist Era

Updated: Mar 19

STATE & NATIONAL In the course of the last year's milieu's that plagued the seat of U.S. Suoreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas involving his role in entering into any decisions made in regard to his relationship to long time Trump associate and wife, Ginny Thomas who has been a team member within the Donald Trump political ring. Today, one of Thomas' apparent nemesis exposes his deal offer to request the that senior justice abdicate in exchange for $1million dollars per year. Funny, but, was this not the same number that was played on former Harvard President Gay in January ?

So, there are either smack- ings of the venerable "flash of the race card" afoot or it's the other thing...ye-yeah the 'Make America white supremacy-strong in all the high places" banter being heralded before the entire nation and the world.

At this, what seems to be a request for the resignation of the 2nd black US Supreme Court Justice -at the end of the day when all the lights are out, the faces of a white-wash are glaring as a 'black-out' ascends upon certain established high ranking, PhDs holders among other prominent blacks in American society who seem to be targeted.

These activities that have seemed to begin with the push against

• Harvard President Gay who was, also, entitled to a $900,000 dollar annual salary ( awarded into perpetuity) provided she remain on at Harvard in some capacity other than her presidency.

• Then there was the alleged "suicide ..." of HBCU Vice President Bailey, thereabouts were, also,

•allegations brought against one time Baltimore Mayor, Shiela Dixon convicted on charges of embezzlement and fraud,

• and Dolton, I'll., Mayor Tiffany Henyard accused of using municipal funds to back her campaign, and also of funding her own non profit while using funds to purchase campaign billboard adds. In 2024 Henyard was sued and later investigated after replacing a $1million dollar city program, ZAP with her name referring to the student support program as HAP.

• and, lest we forget the 2020 conviction of Catherine Elizabeth Pugh, age 69, Mayor of Baltimore, Maryland. Pugh was forced to pay the city of Baltimore in excess of $1.0 million dollars involving the "Healthy Holly book scandal,

The examination of these cases are essential and, no doubt, some areas presenting matters at issue offer strong reason for questioning by investigators. Nonetheless, while the lives of 100s of average blacks had been slammed down in the street of USA and some among those were beaten to death, some shot to death and others meeting their end at the booted foot of a police officer ramming into one young black man's chest until it caved in, it arrives at a moot point to question how one might ponder the thought of coupling these events.

Quite factually, in the mind of any American with a compulsory education , or not, these events, whether up or down the socioeconomic scale, give rise to overwhelming concern and catapults thoughts in to questioning whether these are not simply the new age - JA Proofrock -police state-centric-- forms of 21st century lynchings.

Today, given the US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas lynch-pin ushered in by hangman, comic and ' Last Week Tonight show host, John Oliver who offers the $1million per year to Thomas if only he would vacate the bench. Oliver states, Thomas has made things in America, demonstrably worse” Earth to Oliver, you may think it odd to note, however, in this extremist , supremacist era, most blacks are not laughing?

Today, as 2 more black women campaign for making the climb to their state's top judicial seat, one might hope for the best for either or both black, female, Democratic candidates for the. Supreme Court for the state of Ohio . Terri Jamison and Lisa Forbes, both of whose lighter complexion --according to Oliver and others who think like him-- might serve as pivotal point that rivals Thomas, but who, among us, is looking?

For Oliver, his offer may have been meant as ' just a little jocularity.! Again, Mr. Oliver, how might the black community be reacting when, in fact, most do not seem to see the human in the gesture?
