"I believe we should abolish the Electoral College and select our president by the winner of the popular vote, same as every other office."--Former US First Lady, US Senator , New York and Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton

From the vantage point of most US voters the definitive purpose of an " elector" should be that each among the () of them should actually place a vote in the form of a confirmation of the votes entered by each state. On the contrary, the electors are afforded the bold and , altogether , brazen liberty to vote their own conscience. It is, by that standard, an ineffective and unnecessary process in the manner that the college has the inherent, however, dubious power to override and therefore, fully negate the votes of the US public.

Quite apparently, one of the nation's foremost political leaders agrees that tge Electoral College is Insignificant body of 538 who , in this era, tend to fs its purpose as stated in Aticle II of the US Constitution tgst, unless there is such cause that tge Congress must hold a election, then the Electoral College, elected by each state will represent each state in its vote. Irrespective of the fact that some states lawfully elect a higher number of electors, the college vote must reach 270 favoring one nominee in order to satisfy the standards set for electing a presidential.

Otherwise, when the duties prescribed for electors by tge US Condtitution are failed, then the Electoral College fails at upholding the statutes of the law and, therefore, exists solely as a dead heat and, for lack of a better description; it is as an entropic carcass.

In reflection of the Hillary Clinton stand against the Elecgoral College, the first woman and first politician to significantly achieve a whole government procession. As Former US Senator and Secretary of State, Former First Lady Hillary Clinton, has consistently advocated for the abolition of the Electoral College. Clinton firmly believes that the president should be chosen based on the popular vote, just like every other elected office.

In her own words, Hillary Clinton states her belief that the Predidential elect is n should be decided in the same manner as that of every other elected office--by popular vote

In regard to her stance, it’s important to note that the Electoral College still exists, and Clinton has participated in the process. For instance, during the 2020 election, Hillary Clinton cast her electoral vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris while reiterating her call to abolish the Electoral College.

Despite her husband, former US President Bill Clinton's assignment as a Democratic elector for the state of New York's Electoral College, Hillary Clinton's views on the Electorsl College remain quite critical of its necessity.

The debate over the Electoral College remains a topic of discussion, and Clinton’s position continues to influence conversations about electoral reform in the United States. Perhaps, at some point prior to its utter destructive path that tends to castigate the popular voter's choice, the Electoral College should be regarded as an election debacle that must be rendered defunct.
