New York Extends Trump $454.9m Deadline & Lowers Initial Payment to 39%


STATE & NATIONAL: Today in New York, former President Fonsld faced making restitution for tge debt of $454.9m dollars; the ruling delivered to Trump by District Judge Arthur Engoron. In a more recent decision, an appellate court, today, extended Trump's deadline by one month snd lowered the initial payment to less than half of the former President's debt.

In the case brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James convicting former President Trump on charges of fraud associated with his budiness and commercial property finances, there have been some significant changes.


Today a New York appellate court has extended Trump's deadline and payments to , now, return $175m dollars, roughly 39% of the former President's total debt to the state of New York.


Today, a panel of appellate judges stated that tge decision to lower Trump's initial payment is sustained for 10 days giving Trump time to make good on the agreement. Judges in the court havmve, however, indicated that the decision can be revoked of Trump fails to uphold the reduced bond agreement.


While the Trump attorneys team sought after lowering the initial payment to $100million, when that ietition failed the judges approval, the former President stated that he will ensure that $175.0 million will be paid immediately


Former President Trump has, still, to respond to hearings slated for being conducted in a Manhattan court involving the hush money payment made to adult film producer, Stormy Daniels.
