POLITICS: Today, following tge collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, President Joe Biden has responded to the emergency Baltimore port situation. Biden stated that the White House has deployed tge US Transpirtation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, to travel to Maryland to assess the situation and determine the action necessary to be taken.

On Tuesday, the report of the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge has been reported. The bridge that has remained situated across Baltimore harbor was struck over night moments on Tuesday was hit by a cargo ship passing through the harbor

According to a report involving the incident, the cargo ship destination was Sri Lanca--tge ship's bridge crashing cause 7 vehicles to fall into the waters of the Patapsco River.
The FSK bridge is a major thoroughfare that provides commute ability for more than 30,000 travelers commuting between Maryland and Washington DC.
President Joe Biden has stated that every possible response effort is being made to respond to tge situation that, now, reports tge rescues of only 2 people.
Biden was questioned in regard to the federal responsibility of the cargo ship company providing for the repair of the bridge in view of its accudrnt. Biden stated there will be no delays in repairing the FSK Bridge adding that the federal government will rebuild the bridge-- later dealing with the cargo ship company's responsibility for the accident.
Today, Governor Wes Moore has responded to the accident calling in Baltimore Fire Department, also, as rescue teams and emergency crews remain on the scene in Baltimore, Ma.
While it is anticipated that there were more than 3 people in vehicles on the FSK Bridge at 1am this morning, the general time of the ship's collision, BFD Chief, James Wallace, states that the search continues for nothing more than people affected by accident.
Biden commented "...15,000 jobs depend on that port and we're going to get it up and running as soon as possible."
