STATE & NATIONAL: Today, tgere is no absolute certainty how the settled matter that arose between Walt Disney-Florida and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis now leans. What has transpired, however, is an end to a lawsuit involving control of the theme park's police and disputes over school districts, there, teaching sexual orientation to minor school children.

Speaking to Asheville, NC, primary school officials Pastor John Amanchukwu stated, " If you don't want to hear it in a school board meeting, why should children be able to check it out of the school system?"
News from Florida, today, gives the impression that Florida Governor, Ron DeSantis, has settled the state's law suit that challenged Disney's district control . At one point, following the onset of a dispute that reflects Governor DeSantis opposition to Disney Florida theme park President Jeffe Vhale , having any authority to impose policy on the local school district (s). DeSantis led the banter however, Disney reported having counter sued.
In 2022, Disney entered criticism of the state's policy involving the Parental Rights In Education Act. The Act, which, in Florida, states opposition to educating minor students in the ways of homosexuality, is a state statute banning teaching sexual orientation snd discussion of the matter in schools.
Problems between the state of Florida and Disney erupted into an explosive chain of events when Governor DeSantis removed district power from Disney and ushered in a local panel to head the district office of the Florida Disney theme park. The changes were agreed to by Disney, however, at last minute, before the state supplanted Dusney's panel if board members, Disney reinstated its own board members thereby infuriating Flotida officials.
A law suit ensued thereafter-- the which , it is indicated-- was settled, today. However, according to DeSantis, there are extenuating factors involved in the situation that remain at issue.
By the end of tge day on Wednesday, Disney's legsl team stated that the decision to return power to the internal board members was rendered inconsequential. Today, Governor Ron DeSantis states, 'it's not over, yet!'
DeSantis does not stand alone in his fight to protect tge environment of education for minor students. Parents and education experts across the nation believe that homosexual orientation education has no place in public school curriculum.
In school districts across the nation parents are removing their kinder to middle school age students from schools that are including sexual orientation in the curriculum .
In The book, 'It's Perfectly Normal' was showcased before a gathering of public school officials in ( ). The topic being addressed by parents and community leaders, including Pastor John Amanchukwu who shocked school officials when he began reading the text. The Pastor was asked to stop reading because the context of the book included in elementary school curriculum was extremely graphic.
Pastor Amanchukwu commented that the school book, It's Perfectly Normal contains chapters on homosexual and heterosexual sexual guidance, sidomy and self gratification and demanded that the school officials take immediate and firm steps to remove the illicit types of El-High expository from public schools.
