NATION: Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell has expressed a cautious stance regarding interest rate cuts.

Despite the current economic strength, including a robust labor market, inflation (though still elevated) and strong growth in 2023, Powell emphasizes the need for prudence.

Today, Powell stated that the Federal Reserve will wait for more positive inflation readings before making any decisions on lowering interest rates.
