Removing thousands of tonnes per interval from the Patapsvo River and portions of the Baltsmore Harbor is a strategic move on the part of repay teams that have set forth to move forward with plans for making the necessary repairs.

Today, as debris is removed from the waters once seated beneath the FSK bridge the clearing will allow more ships to enter the region of the Patapsco which, despite the quite difficult maneuvering condition file to the FSK collapse, supplies continue to approach the waterway.s through which a thoroughfare is being forged open.

Today, as portions of the collapsed bridge are being removed, it has been necesssary for work crews to cut the nearly 4000 tonnes bridge portions into fragments to execute the task of lifting only smaller parts of the bridge out of the River a bit at a time.

One of the most difficult processes tasked by the work crew will become the ungortunste mission involved in locating a number of those whose vehicles were trapped under the fallen bridge. According to the BFD report, a number of construction workers were at work on the bridge at the time of it's collapse. Last week, Baltimore Fire Department and rescue teams were able to rescue 2 of the 7 people believed to have been trapped under the wreckage.

The White House reports providing 60 million in funds that will be used to engage in tge FSK repair. The Biden administration reassured Maryland Governor Moore that the government will provide everything necessary to repair the bridge without fail.

Biden is expected to travel to Baltimore sometime during the first week in April.
