STATE & NATION: Today, the Supreme Court of the state of Florida has ruled in favor of upholding a ban on the abortion. The ban upheld by Florida SCOFUS will stretch across a 15 week time period to prevent eomen in the state from having abortions performed.

In the state of Florida, the Supreme Court landed on a decision to extend the state's abortion ban through the remainder of the year as the General Election approaches.
Consequently, residents in Florida will exercise their choice in November as the prospect for ensuring abortion protection will be situated on the Florida ballot.
Today's ban continuance includes all types of abortion however, extends exception to matters involving rape, incest and threats on the mother's life resulting from child bearing.
Prior to Governor Ron DeSantis signing the statute, the court determined that the Privacy Act would not preclude the legality of extending the ban to 15 weeks.
DeSantis took action that concurred with the viyrt's decision in which it was indicated tgst plaintiff, Planned Parenthood was unable to overcome the question surrounding the ban's constitutionality and was, therefore, unable to have the 15-week abortion ban rescinded..
