Gupta's Murders & Assassinations For Hire Plot Challenges Relations Between US & India


US & GLOBAL: In the days that have followed the death plot, shooting of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in British Columbia, the indictment of Nikki Gupta, the primary suspect in a US resident and native East India failed assassination attempt, United States have reason for expressing concern for the security of US - India relations. Gupta's plot , also, ties the 52 year old India government employee to a 2nd murder committed in Canada months ago. uestions have been raised in regard to the () satmina of US-India relations in view of the Sikh opposers US resident's assassination plot. Unavoidably, the US followed a trail of information that such that strongly suggested that Gupta was a key actor in the assassination plot and the 2 murders; one in Canada and another in British Columbia in 2023. During the G-20 summit held in India, President Joe Biden spoke with Indian President Narenda Modi in regard to the murders and the plot formed against (), a US resident and citizen of India. The question that remain unanswered is whether India President, Modi is instrumental in forwarding an intra-national murder-for-hire squad. From the vantage point of a rather surreptitiously conducted investigation of Modi, the appearance of the India leader's involvement in the murder-for-hire schemes appeared quite likely to US investigators.

While it was held as fact that Gupta worked as an India government field employee, the indictment brought against the suspected hit man included allegations that Gupta's involvement in the assassination plot stating that the Indian filed employee formulated a plan to commit several assassinations including that of the Sikh leader Sikh separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannunand US-India political activistand Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The investigation of Gupta left hardly any question on the minds of a number of US officials, including President Joe Biden. During the India summit in September, 2023, US officials who questioned India's government Biden was insenced by the notion that the India government may have supoorted the assassination plot. Others within the US government agreed with the President's warnings made to Modi that any evidence of further assassination plots being conducted inthe US will result in a break in ties between the United States and India. President Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, national security adviser Jake Sullivan, and Central Intelligence Agency vehemently opposed the three murders incluiding the unsuccessful plot that Gupta formed against US resident, India Sikh leader Sikh separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
