“You know, during your convention, you heard from members of the most diverse administration in history — our administration.”— US President, Joe Biden

Shortly preceding his rush to the Oval Office, President Biden spoke to the NAN organization of members who gathered at the White House for the day’s eventful meeting with t President.

“A promise kept to rebuild all of America, reconnecting Black communities that had been cut in half by interstate highway systems with jobs and opportunities as well, to ensure that every community has access to clean water and high-speed Internet.”— US President Joe Biden

Delivering a speech in reflection of the last year’s work with the NAN organization, Biden commented in regard to the efforts made to ensure that significant investments were in the black community.

“Rev.  You know, we face a moment of choosing at a time when our very democracy is at stake.  And that’s not an exaggeration.  Our democracy is at stake.”—US President Joe Biden

President Biden commented on the promises that were kept between the administration and NAN—“the promise to get through the pandemic, to not leave the black community behind and the promise to protect and expand Obamacare, saving Black families $800 a year on their premiums and support Big Pharma by securing negotiation authority by Medicare officials.

“I see an America where, with your help, I sign the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act into law, where I sign the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act into law, where we make Roe v. Wade the law of the land again.  And we can do that.”—

Biden spoke about investing 7 billion dollars in HBCUs and appointing the first blavk woman to the US Supreme Court. The President made it clear that a number of the promises made with Al Sharpton and NAN included signing gun safety laws and advancing environmental Justice have been fulfilled.

The President cited the rise in black employment and the preventative efforts made to end attacks on black and brown businesses.

The President added that while his results are real, he was proud to state that $76billion dollars in federal contracts were awarded to small and disadvantaged businesses.

Biden’s vision for America invokes a call to Americans for protecting democracy. “I see a future where we give hate no safe harbor and call out the poison of white supremacy.” Biden’s comments agsinst hate seem to reflect that of race hate and rage against Americans by Americans.

Biden closed by commenting on his vision for a future that can save the planet, ban assault weapons and end gun violence.” We did it once; we’ve got to do it again.  We must get it done.”
