STATE & NATIONAL: In Oklahoma, a devastating tornado blasted the city of Sulphur killing 3 and injuring scores of others. Today, 30,000 people remain without electricity as the search for survivors continues.

Today, the city of Sulphur, Oklahoma appears to be leveled to the ground. Leveled to the ground, Sulphur, Oklahoma is facing a challenging situation in the aftermath of the devastating tornado.
Residents of Sulphur emerged from their shelters to a scene that was hard to believe . Today, search and rescue crews are still at work assessing the damage.
As the results of the tornado are assessed, there is the matter pf drone footage taken in Sulphur on April 28, 2024, that shows the aftermath of the severe weather and tornado outbreak.
As residents contionue to do their best to get through the utterly shattering devastation, more thqn 30,000 remain without power. Electricity customers continued without power through Sunday.
Today, downtown Sulphur is nearly unrecognizable after the direct hit from the tornado. Officials there have indicated that the recovery process is ongoing, and the full extent of the damage is still being assessed. The nations stands with the city of Sulphur and its residents as our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.
