Judge Choudhury commented in regard to Coubty Executive Blakeman’s lawsuit stating the “submission fails to demonstrate irreparable harm — a critical prerequisite for the issuance of a temporary restraining order.”

Citing the constitutional right of transgender women and girls to engage in sports activities within Nassau county, a New York court upheld the lawsuit fjord by Attorney General Letitia James.

Last month, a NY-TRANS-SPORTS-BAN law suit was filed by tge majority Republican county among residents who, also, opposed Democrats. Despite their assertions, Judge Nusret Choudhury countered the lawsuit stating that the plaintiff lacked standing to file a suit against the Attorney General.

The report from Judge Choudhury stated that the county attempted to block James’ efforts at filing a suit over the ban. James argued that the Nassau county ban, led by County Executive Bruce Blakeman, is “… blatantly illegal.” Blake man was thereafter ordered by the court to remove the lawsuit against James.

Judge Choudhury responded to tge county lawsuit stating that the suit failed at having any authority to sue the AG adding that Blakeman’s claims made in the lawsuit were significantly in violation of tge rights of transgenders seeking to fulfill their right to participate in the county’s spurts activities.
