POLITICS: IN a plan to step up the pace and efficiency of border security, US President Joe Biden imposed a plan that would provide Border Agents the authority to immediate reject and turn back ineligible asylum seekers.

Following a plan that includes President Joe Biden's decision to take tougher steps to secure the southern border at the US-Mexico port of entry, the US DHS has been instructed to takes steps to prevent an asylum seeker when it is evident that they would bring harm or endanger national security.
"[B]y more quickly identifying and removing those individuals who present a security risk and have no legal basis to remain here,..." Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas stated that its job of protecting the border is accomplished much more efficiently.
Most recently, Homeland Security agents have stated that the attempts by asylum seekers are noticeable in their increase. The Biden decision provides for the freedom to control illegal entry and to stop attempt made by ineligible asylum seekers with in days after they have reached the US=Mexico border.
Homeland /Security agents have been provided the executive authority to carry out the necessary tactics for preventing ineligible crossings by asylum seekers. DHS agents have indicated that the measures that have been ordered by the Biden administration will be necessary and effective in states across the nation. Today, in Congress, Democrats continue to engage in bilateral efforts to increase the possibility for the new immigration decisions to be approved. According to DHS, the new rule will be detained while being worked through public opinion. The restrictions and limitation in asylum seeking is expected to enter into effect by December, 2024.
