POLITICS: Today, as graduates marched during a moment that would signify a final segment in their lives only for their next steps to arrive on a new horizon. President Joe Biden would usher in the new era in the lives of more than 1000 West Point Academy graduates, the military academy he was appointed to following his high school graduation from Archmere Academy in 1961.

On Saturday, as the commencement of West Point Military academy began sharply at 10a.m., US President Joe Biden paid honorable recognition to scores of young men and women who would rank among the most brave and courageous Americans in the US military.
Students who have chosen this lot in life have placed themselves within the confines of a military career. The choice made by these students clearly states that each of them have certainly expressed their belief in the school's mantra which simply states; "Duty, Honor, Country--it is the life of each of these young US Military Academy graduates who acknowledge their duty to honor their country in peace and in war. More than a mere memorable phrase, the words written by Douglas McArthur, one of the United States most revered military officers expressed to the military enlisted meant a lifelong commitment to what "you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be..." President Biden spoke into the future of the graduates who, as they proceed in the US military becoming Army 2nd lieutenants, they will take on duties associated with standing against Russia's invasion of Ukraine, defending Israel and ensuring aid to Gaza. Biden commented in regard to his plan to ensure that US troops are not engaged in battle with Ukraine, however, expressing certain efforts that will be conducted to defend Ukraine against Russia's "brazen attacks..." As the ceremonial celebration proceeded to the next phase, President Biden rose to shake hands and awarding with diplomas the top graduates of honor, including Class President Gary T Ward III and others highest ranking students in the 2024 class. Biden continued shaking hands with student graduates alongside members of the military school's administrative staff. During his closing comments, President Biden encouraged the West Point class of 2024. Biden spoke of the importance of maintaining integrity as these graduates go forward as representatives of one of the finest military systems in the world stating, "Hold fast to your values that you learned here at West Point."
