US & GLOBAL: On Friday, President Joe Biden announced the plan for a ceasefire as a measure to be reached in the Phase 1 efforts ofthe conflict. Biden stated that , provided every element of tge Phase one plane is fully carried forth, the Phase 2 deal will be a successful end to the war between Israel and Hamas.

Today, President Joe Biden spoke during a press conference, today stating the plans laid out by the U.S. for entering into a two phase agreement that will culminate into a number of progressive efforts to ultimately bring about an end to the war.
Biden indicated that Phase 1 of the agreement will result in a ceasefire and release of hostages. the 2nd phase, should the 1st phase be successfully conducted, will result in the end of the war and plans for rebuilding Gaza and the region.
Included in the plan for engaging both Phase 1 and 2, Biden stated that the US will require the necessary steps taken including the ceasefire and hostage release in order for the recently approved 95nillion dollars in funding tgst inckudes pietions being provided to Israel, once the agreed upon events are met in Phase 1.
