Russia Issues Threats To Ukraine As U-Defense Approves U.S. Military Action

US & GLOBAL: On Wednesday, following information eluding to the efforts made by Russian to make direct threats against Ukraine, the United States has been closely monitoring the situation.

Today, in regard to activities conducted between Russia and Ukraine, recently, it has been reported that Ukraine has used U.S. weapons to strike inside Russia for the first time.

The recent action was taken in response to Russian threats remains a matter under newly approved guidance from President Joe Biden, allowing American arms to be used for the limited purpose of defending Kharkiv.

Ukraine -US strikes were reportedly targeted at Russian forces attacking or preparing to attack Ukrainian positions.

In regard to the White House decision, the U.S. policy directs Ukraine not to use American provided ATACMS or long-range missiles and other munitions to strike offensively inside Russia. However, in the most recent developments, there is some indication that a significant step has been taken in the ongoing conflict.

Amid the new developments, Ukraine has stepped up calls on the U.S. to allow its forces to defend themselves against attacks originating from Russian territory.
