Gaza Strikes Continue As Israel Pends Hamas Ceasefire Decision

US & GLOBAL: The situation between Israel and Gaza is volatile while Israel remains situated in a retaliation stance, the current strikes involve a series of events occurring while the ceasefire deal is being considered.

According to recent reports, Israel has offered a three-phase ceasefire proposal to Hamas, which includes a full and complete ceasefire, withdrawal of Israeli forces from densely populated areas of Gaza, and the release of hostages and prisoners.



Despite the proposed ceasefire deal, Israel's strike in Gaza have been continued It can be considered that the reasons for these continued strikes are not always fully disclosed to the public, but they are often in response to specific threats or actions.


In that regard, one report mentions an Israeli strike on a school in Gaza that was being used as a Hamas shelter. Israel has persisted with claims that the school building was targeting after Israel learned that Hamas militants sheltering there.


Another report suggests that Israel continues to conduct strikes in retaliation for an attack by Hamas on October 7, ahead of an expected ground offensive.
