Biden & Macron Discuss Israel-Hamas Ceasefire While Washington Awaits Hamas Decision

POLITICS: Today, in Washington, President Biden and officials stand by awaiting a final response from Israel in regard to Hamas decision .

On Friday, whike US President Joe Biden remains in France through the weekend, the U.S. waits to hear whether Hamas will or will not agree with the proposed Phase 3 Ceasefire deal.

In the last moments of negotiations, Israel has presented its plan to Hamas for engaging in a 6 seeks ceasefire, such that would free hostages and exchange a number of Palestinian prisoners .

In the deal is, also, the 2nd phase which involves Israel's military pulling out of Gaza. The 3rd phase , should each ofthe first 2 phases be sufficiently conducted.

President Biden has indicated that in such even that the Phase 1 and 2 requests are met, then Israel and Gaza's war would. Phase 3 includes the redevelopment of Gaza.

In France, US President Biden and French President Macron will engage in talks concerning the ceasefire on Saturday.
