S Africa Elects Ramiphosa Returning Democratic Alliance To Presidency

US & GLOBAL: On Friday, Douth African seated President, Cyril Ramiphosa won the return to the presidency. In a race against political rival, Julius Malema. Ramiphosa emerged the victor by a vote of 283 with Malema trailing with 44 votes.

Today, President Cyril Ramiphosa upheld the hope by millions of Africans for sustaining democracy. Ramiphosa is the leader Democratic Alliance and the African National Conference. Malema has led the opposition party condidered extremists, the Economic Freedom Fighters.


The botingbprocess being carried forth on Friday, resulted in 22% of Ramiphosa’s votes being provided by the Democratic Alliance. The DA would represent the stronger political party while the decision remains possible that Ramiphosa may be voted a return to Parliament.


Made certain, today, with the return of Ramiphosa, is that the DA has become established as a national governing body.


Leadership is no stranger to Ramiphosa who has served as the S African President as a result of last term since 2018.


With a career vested in service to South Africa through the anti- apartheid movement, trade Union leadership and also having operated his own business, Ramiphosa is a respected leaders of the people of South Africa.
