STATE & NATIONAL: This weekend, an early Juneteenth celebration erupted in gun fire when two opposing sides began arguing.. One person reportedly produced a firearm and engaged in shooting. Two people suffered deadly injuries while 14 people were struck and injured by gunfire.

In the small Texas town of around Rock, a celebration conducted by the city ended in tragedy when gun fire erupted.

According to a report from Round Rock PD, the Saturday night Pre-Juneteenth celebration was disrupted with fighting between two opposing groups. The 11pm fight turned deadly when a firearm was produced by a person or persons in one of the opposing groups and shots rang out.
Police Chief , Allan Banks did not indicate whether the matter was being regarded as a hate crime, indicating, however, that an investigation is being conducted.
Police are currently looking for a suspect who has a thin build, stands at 5’7”, wears a short dreadlock hair style and was wearing a white hoodie at the time.
The bureau of Alcohol Firearms, Tobacco and Ecplosives has offered a $5.000 dollar reward to anyone having information about the suspect or suspects that leads to an arrest.
