Tropical Storm Alberto at 9 mph Expected To Pick Up Wind & Travel Impact in 24 hrs.



STATE & NATIONAL: On Wednesday, the National Hurricane Service, Miami Florida, issued a bulletin in regard to Tropical Storm, Alberto. According to information gathered from the NHS, Alberto is a potential hurricane that is currently traveling from east Mexico at Tampico moving westward over the western Gulf of Mexico with a mile span of a 180-290 circumference.

Today, light to heavy rains have moved from the Gulf of Mexico crossing Texas and a number of southern states including Florida.


Alberto is currently crossing Texas moving with low velocity toward Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri, the entire Mid Western states,


Tropical Storm, Albert is eciected to move across a vast portion of the United States, today and will continue dumping light to heavy rains in areas over the next 8 days.


From the Texas coast, Alberto will leave the San Luis Pass and will move southward toward the Rio Grande. By 1:0”pm Wednesday, Alberto was tracked at a latitude of 22.2 north and longitude 95.1 west


Traveling at 9 mph, Slberto is expected to increase speed over the next 30 hours building up tropical storm gorce winds. Alberto is a massive storm that will cover a 415 mile region of the nation as it moves through the south, southwest northerly through the Mid West, eastern and dome northern Ststes in the US.


Alberto is currently carrying heavy rainfall, coastal flooding, and winds that will expand to the outer regions away from the center of the storm.


Flooding is exiected in urbsn regions of the U.S. while life threatening floods and mudslides are likely in higher terrain regions.
