NATION: In a state court in the state of California, the man who attacked Paul Pelosi, David DePape, was found guilty on all charges. Paul Pelosi, husband of former U.S. House Speaker , Nancy Pelosi, survived a brutal attack by David DePape who burglarized the Pelosi home in San Francisco attacking Paul Pelosi by way of beating him with a hammer.

On Friday, David DePape, tge man charged with 5 acts of crime was returned a guilty verdict by the state court. Department had faced charges of 1st degree residential burglary, of aggravated kidnapping, false imprisonment of an elderly adult, threatening the family member of a public official and preventing dissuading a witness by force or threat.


During the trial, attorney for the defendant stated his concern over the charge of kidnapping for ransom, Adam Lipson stating his disbelief that DePape ever intended to collect a ransom.


Prior to the week’s verdict involving the five charges, DePape had been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for his attempt at holding former House Speaker Pelosi hostage and subsequently committing tge act of burglary that resulted in the assault by means of a strike in the head of the 82 year old husband of Nancy Pelosi.


Sentencing in the most recent state trial has not been set for being conducted. Any further sentence may run concurrent to the ongoing 30 year sentence currently being served out by David DePaor.
