“Think about the second order of effect of any type of operation into Lebanon, and how that might play out and how it impacts not just the region, but how it impacts our forces in regions as well,” Chief of Staff, General CQ Brown

Today, General CQ Brown informed Israel that the U.S. may not be equipped to serve as reinforcement in a war against Hezbollah. Brown commented, also, stating that Israel leaders should consider the impact that a war with Hezbollah might have on Israel in addition to the affects that such a war would have on US troops.

General CQ commented in regard to the manner by which the US stepped up during the Iran drone strikes conducted in April stating that the U.S. will not be available in the same manner that assistance was provided during the conflict of 3 months ago.

The situation developing between Huzah and Israel, according to General Brown, will likely involve the Islamic Republic, Hamas and Tehran standing firmly in support of Hezbollah.

Brown stated that the US is concerned about the actions that may be taken by Israel in Lebanon that could result in a widespread war outbreak.

While US Army General CQ stated that his primary concern remains for US troops and tgst there had been no conflict transpiring on U.S. military posts, the greater concern is that the IDF will engage in attacks in zLebanon in a plan to remove Hezbollan forces.

Netanyahu indicated that Israel will press for a diplomatic resolution and will take necessary action to defend the nation of Israel should any cause arise.
