US & GLOBAL: Where the DACA law begins with the ensured protection and security for illegal Latino migrants, it ends at the foot of illegal Chinese migration. In the last 6 months hundreds of illegal Chinese citizens have migrated to the United States. Today, the Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas says, the US will “remove individuals without a legal basis to remain in the United States.”

The great poet, Langston Hughes, once wrote, “What happens to a dream deferred…?” Today, as 116 illegal migrants from the nation of China are reboarded on a flight to be repatriated in their native land, the question that lingers is how a law that protects illegal Latino migrants who connect to legal US family members differs for Chinese migrants.
The dream of being safe and sound in America turned nightmare when DHS Secretary Mayorkas engaged with the government of China in a plan to reduce and prevent illicit human smuggling.
On Tuesday, during a press conference held by the DHS Secretary, commented in regard to what appeared to be a rise in the influx of Chinese migration. According to those who have made the , often, dangerous trek through Equador to reach the US, , their arrival in America had been a much more worthy plight.
Recently , following a mass movement of Chinese immigrants who sought after making the pilgrimage to the U.S., it had been a comment made as a census in which it was stated by Chinese immigrants that there are serious problems among citizens in Chinese society. The problems, they say, stem from examples of government unfairness , mistreatment and stifled opportunity.
Most migrating Chinese agree with the feeling that, their country has been deceiving us, persecuting us. I have to do something.” The comments made by Xu, a Chinese citizen who made the illegsl migration to the U.S. in 2023.
In the same year, the US Border Patrol agents reported having arrested and deported nearly 400,000 illegal Chinese immigrants who crossed into the U.S. at the Southern border. Today, DHS indicates that, with the necessary compliance by officials in China, the matter of illegal migration of its citizens may be resolved. In the past, however, China had turned a deaf ear to the pleas made by US officials who have requested China’s compliance with deportation efforts. The Chinese government has declined, stating China does not want defectors to be repatriated.
In the last 6 months, there has been major progress noted by the DHS. The Chinese government has stated its opposition to illegal migration. In the US, Chinese Embassy officials have stated their plan for ensuring secure tutu at the U.S. border as efforts continue to be made to reduce and extinguish all forms of smuggling.
On Tuesday, Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas voted several flights of 14 Chinese on board smaller charter aircraft as tge U.S. conducted deportation of illegal Chinese migrants. This weekends deportation efforts is the first of the increased capacity to be prepared by the U.S. as deportation expenses have been paid by the US government.
