President Biden First Lady, Vice President Harris, 2nd Gentlemen Emhoff, Defense Secretary Austin & Wife Celebrate 4th if July

POLITICS: On Thursday, the annual 4th of July celebration was kicked off in Washington DC at tge White House. President Joe Biden and Dr Jill Biden celebrate the 4th while welcoming active duty U.S. service men and women.



“Happy 4th of July everybody! Happy Independence Day!” Vice President Kamala Harris showered the crowds with smiles and words of welcome. Harris stated, “As we celebrate freedom, democracy and the promise of America we , also, celebrate and express our gratitude to our veterans, the military and their families we give thanks to our Commander in Chief, the extraordinary President Joe Biden.”


Biden entered stage right and welcomed the visitors with a “Happy Independence Day! Shout out. Before releasing the crowd to celebrate, Biden stated, “We gotta do do what our founders did. We are the United States of America. There’s nothing else like it in the world.!”

“Happy Independence Day! The rain helped the humidity a little bit…On this day, …we were the only nation in the world founded on an idea.”


At the White House, President Joe Biden, Dr Jill Biden open the grounds to the national ceremony celebrating Independence Day.

The Biden’s have served a full course Bar B Que dinner for their guests and their families while awaiting the time that US President Joe Biden will address the nation.


Today, shortly before introducing President Biden, Dr Jill Biden expressed her gratitude to the many U.S. military members who were welcomed to the White House 4th of July Bar B Que and introduced US Defense Secretary General, Lloyd Austin.


Secretary Austin thanked President Biden and Dr Jill Biden for their welcoming the military and under his command during the 4th of July celebration.


While speaking during the White House 4th of July Bar B Que, Secretary Austin commented that tge US military has been awarded a near 10% pay raise across the board over the past 2 years.


Austin stated that the Department’s vote operative is taking care of people. The Defense Department is taking steps to take care of military families , helping to secure good parlaying jobs for families of the US military’s enlisted.


Defense is assisting with lowering the cost of childcare to US military families. Defense is taking the burden out of moving and enduring THST children attend the best schools.


The White House works together with the Defense Department to ensure that cost of essentisl items are cut at US military post commissaries and improving health care. Pride runs deep among those who provide for the US military and the Secretary is one of the most proud.


As the ceremony continued, Secretary Austin introduced US President Joe Biden. While thanking Secretary Austin and wife for joining the Independence Day crlebration, the President, also thanked the members of the military and families, stating that the military is only 1% of the U.S. population, nonetheless, the military is at work to protect 99% of the nation.


Biden stated that the US government has many obligations to the nation. The President stated there is one sacred obligation; to take care of the military when they’re at war and to care for their families including times when their soldier does not come home.


Biden stated that “…we are all a part of that long chain of patriots that stretched back to our nation’s founding that’s given life to the idea of America.


America was not founded on ethnicity nor geography, but was founded on an idea. Biden stated that tge nation we have never fully lived up to the obligation to regard every American’s unalienable rights, but “…we never walked away from it.”


President Biden commented with expressions of gratitude for the many men and women who serve the nation as defenders of the United States.


Biden commented in reference to ht he visit by he and the First Lady to France for tge 80th anniversary of D Day. Biden said, “All those who served were heroes, genuine heroes… heroes of freedom and democracy in America.”


President Biden stated, “Now decades later, Americans have to ask the question, Will we stand for freedom again, will we stand for democrac? Will we stand together as Americans. I believe we will and we can.


Biden stated that he did something one other President did not do when he visited the WWII cemetery in France.


There is no other military as powerful, as decent and as giving as our military” Biden closed his comments and celebrated with food, fun and fire works!
