US & GLOBAL: On Friday, Beryl was reduced to a Tropical Storm as the system continues to pose a threat to regions across the southern Atlantic. Leaving the Caribbean islands and heading toward Mexico’ s Yucatán Peninsula by last repirt on Thursday, Beryl appears to exist as a life threatening Category 3 hurricane

Carrying hurricane force storm surges and gale force winds, Beryl continues to show dangerous activity across northern Mexico.


Currently remaining nearest the northern region of Mexico, Beryl is expected to land upon far northern tip of Mexico and continue into Texas by Sunday-Monday.


The National Hurricane Center issues warnings to portions of the Texas Gumf Coast to areas situated in east Texas. The NHC states that flash floods snd urban flooding is expected beginning late Sunday.


Rip currents will cause life threatening condition on beaches in much of the Gulf Coast.


Tonight through Sunday, heavy rain and flooding will hover over northern Mexico before moving on toward Texas reaching south Texas by the early a.m. hours on Monday.
