Tropical Storm Beryl Traveling Toward Texas Possible Landfall By Monday

STATE & NATIONAL: Today, the National Weather Service reports that Beryl continues moving upon the United States at south Texas. This Category 1 Storm System is expected to reach the Texas Gulf Coast as, at this time , severe weather warnings are still in effect for Corpus Christi, Flour Bluff and Chapman Ranch areas.

Today, Tropical Storm Beryl is currently affecting the south Texas region, including Nueces County. As of the latest updates:


Tropical Storm Beryl was located about 20 miles southeast of of Corpus Christi as of 4 a.m. Saturday and was moving west-northwest at 12 mph with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph. Beryl is expected to make landfall along the Texas coast late Sunday to early Monday.


Currently In Nueces County, the weather is reported as partly sunny with an increasing Cloudy overhang. The current temperature is 90 degrees. Today's severe storm warnings will remain in effect until 6 pm tonight.
