Governor Newsom’s Controversial Pay Scale Increase Improves California Economy

NATION: Today, as speculation continues among some who imagine a 2024 election without President Joe Biden have , those of little fsith have turned their focus to any other Democrat. While the majority of other are comfortable with the move forward plan had with a Biden-Harris team, it does, however, appear that California Governor Gavin Newsom may be making a strong bid for the run. Newsom is flexing his pay’s ale muscle in California.

Yes. today, a report from the Gavin Newsom camp indicates that the recently increased base pay for average laborers is a shot at pulling on California’s Democratic community.


Recently, Hivernor Newsom went ahead and took the steps his office had apparently contemplated for some time. Today, Newsom announced a minimum wage increase to $20 dollars for those employed in the state of California.


In April, the Governors office introduced the plan for raising the minimum wage for quick service restaurants workers. Trouble with the decision followed with the California Business and Industrial Alliance stating that the adjustment would cause job losses.


Enter Newsom’s saving grace. While the quick service restaurant labor is seasonal, the problems that were mentioned involving paying a higher pay wage was shot down.


Despite the claims made by tge California budiness industry in a recent news release indicating that following the April 1st enforced law that 10,000 jobs had, already been cut, the Newsom team reacted to the claim with a rebuttal. The Governor’s office reported an increase in employment by 10,600 new job fills since Sptil first.
