NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg Announced More Partner- Action Necessary For Ukraine Defense


NATION: Today, NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg introduced the next steps to be taken in regard to Ukraine defense. Stoltenberg stated NATO partners plans for working more closely together in support of Ukraine to ensure Ukraine’s ability to “…independently produce weapons and ammunitions.”

“We are doing that also to help to not only support but also to invest and develop projects together and increase the capability of Ukraine to produce weapons and munitions themselves”.— Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.


Stoltenberg spoke Wednesday during the NATO Defense Industry Forum. NATO’s Secretary General announced that the organization is taking over Ukraine’s training and security assistance.


As a step taken in enduring Ukraine defense, NATO has established a command center in Germany. Comprised of 700 leaders, the German command center will assist Ukraine with building ammunition and weapons. A final decision in regard to the Germany connection will be made during the Alliance Summit, July 9-11.


Ukraine will be assisted with a military bloc . According to Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, NATO has planned for Ukraine’s rapid receipt of all assistance that will be deployed tge military.
