NATION: From her offices at tge White House in Washington DC, US Vice President Kamala Harris issued a statement in reaction to the heinous and deadly shooting that was committed during the Saturday political rally held by former President Donald J Trump in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

It was shortly following the news of the shooting during the former President Donald Trump presidential rally in Philadelphia, Pa., that Vice President Harris issued a statement in regard to the apparent mass crown shooting.
Having received the report that former President Trump had been attacked by gun violence at 6:11 pm only moments after his political rally began, Vice President Harris commented , stating:
“I have been briefed on the shooting at former President Trump’s event in Pennsylvania.
Doug and I are relieved that he is not seriously injured. We are praying for him, his family, and all those who have been injured and impacted by this senseless shooting.
We are grateful to the United States Secret Service, first responders, and local authorities for their immediate action.
Violence such as this has no place in our nation. We must all condemn this abhorrent act and do our part to ensure that it does not lead to more violence.”
Vice President Harris did not make a disclosure of information surrounding the shooting. The Vice President is awaiting further details as an investigation into the shooting continues.
It has been reported that Thomas M Crooks ‘ home and vehicle had been searched following the shooting. According to the report made, thereafter, police uncovered explosives and other weapons in, both, Crooks’ vehicle and his home.
Crooks was, reportedly, shot and killed by security at tge scene of the shooting during the Yrump political rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
