US President Joe Biden Reacts In Comments Regarding Trump Assassination Attempt


POLITICS: On Saturday, the nation and the world watched and learned of the assassination attempt made on the life of former U.S. President Donald Trump.


Immediately following the shooting in Pennsylvania, US President Joe Biden issued a statement in reaction to the Trump shooting.


US President Joe Biden issued comments stating the following:


“This evening, President Biden spoke to former President Trump. Tonight, President Biden is returning to Washington DC. He will continue to receive regular updates from homeland security and law enforcement officials.


I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information. Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.”


According to the report made by Vice President Kamala Harris, President Biden was visiting tge state of Michigan at the time ofthe Trump assassination attempt.


Harris’ report states that the President was rushed back to Washington DC, the White House from Detroit immediately after learning of the former Presidents shooting incident.


President Biden spoke with Trump who received the President’s consoling words and apologetic response to the assassination attempt made on former President Donald Trump.


Incidentally, Ukraine President , Volodymyr Zelensky commented in regard to the Trump assassination attempt stating, “I am appalled to learn about the shooting of former U.S. President Donald Trump at his rally in Pennsylvania. Such violence has no justification and no place anywhere in the world. Never should violence prevail. I am relieved to learn that Donald Trump is now safe and wish him well.”


US former President Donald Trump was grazed by the gunman’s bullet during his Penndylvsnia political rally. The former President, however, is alive and in good condition following the Saturday shooting.
