Mjr General Ryder: US Pentagon Prevents Ukraine’s Use of ATACMS In Russian Territory

US & GLOBAL: In a recent statement provided by the office of the U.S. Pentagon, Major General Pat Ryder, informs on the reason the zunited Ststes would prohibit Ukraine’s forces being deployed into Russian territory with ATACMS.

Holding a press conference on Monday, Major General Ryder described the matter involving the U.S. decision to prevent ATACMS being used inside Russia as a step taken to prevent the spread of war.


Major General Ryder commented in reference to the U.S. policy in Ukrsine stating that the basic policy has not been altered in regard to long range missiles. Ryder stated that Ukraine has , otherwise, been given the green light for the use of defensive efforts inside Russian.


While Ukraine has been authorized to strike inside Russia, President Joe Biden has limited the deployment of US weapons and strikes into deeper regions of Russia.


Ryder stated, during the July 15 news conference, that the US has made its decision basing standing the policy on the fact that the plan id meant to “…unintended consequences “ that would turn to conflict into a war that would extend beyond Ukraine.


The plan, also, prevents the event of further strikes into Russia that would be provide any strategic results— indicating that the idea would be inconsequential or resulting in only “…secondary or tertiary consequences.”


In favor of Ukraine, Jens Stoltenberg commented that the preservation of sovereignty would open the door to Ukraine’s launching strikes inside Russian territory.


The U.S. has agreed to the prospect surrounding the right to self defense, however, communication with Kyiv is essential to responding to Russian threats.
